Email Notifications Returned

Answered by:

Question:
Assuming we still have a good customer mail address, should banks be concerned when the email notification to the customer regarding their estatement is returned?
Answer:

Not necessarily, because email gets bounced for all sorts of reasons, not the least of which is that the recipient's mailbox hasn't been emptied. Try re-sending the message to the same email address a couple of days later, and see what happens. If it gets bounced again, you should have a procedure to follow.
