FDIC notices on Facebook

Answered by:

Question:
Can you have an image (such as a Facebook Cover Photo) that says Checking on it. Do you need to have FDIC logo on the image? Or does a link to the website with disclosure work?
Answer:

If the Facebook page contains the “Member FDIC” or logo you would be covered. If the graphic is used as a standalone ad it should have it. Regs Z and DD contain one-click rules, FDIC advertising rules do not.
