Flood Determination, New Loan - Existing Mortgage

Answered by:

Question:
What is needed regarding a flood determination when a new loan is made, and the security on the loan is a previous, still existing, real estate mortgage on a home?
Answer:

Refer to this previous BOL Thread. If it is the same bank and same property, you shouldn't have to complete a new Special Flood Hazard Determination Form, if you meet the 3 conditions listed in the link (within 7 years, still accurate, on a SFHDF).
