Integrating document management with the core

What options exist for integrating document management software with the core?

Many cores offer their own document management modules. These systems require minimal or no effort to integrate, but, in some cases, such modules may lack certain features or customizability that a bank requires. Integrating a third-party document management system is another option, which may offer additional flexibility but requires the vendor to integrate to your core.
