Maintaining balance at work (I was tempted to suggest “Damned if you do, damned if you don’t”)

Question: 
If sexual harassment is so complicated and fraught with danger and liability, am I better off simply having no contact whatever – other than the absolutely bare minimum necessary – with any of my co-workers, whether of the “opposite” or same sex or something else?
