MasterCard's Zero Liability Policy (Business DC)

Answered by:

Question:
Can you tell me what the bank's liability is with respect to MasterCard's Zero Liability policy for unauthorized transactions on a business debit card?
Answer:

Since MasterCard covers its business debit card by its Zero Liability provided the account is in good standing, the issuing bank would be liable for any unauthorized charges that it cannot recover using the chargeback process.
