I understand that the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council has changed its criteria for disaster recovery planning considerably. What are the new requirements -- and where can I find more information?
Answer:

The process is now called Business Continuity Planning -- and the changes are extensive. If you have never seen the agency's excellent publication -- the FFIEC IT Examination Handbook -- follow this link and download the most current version.www.ffiec.gov/ffiecinfobase/

The FFIEC IT Examination Handbook contains a wealth of well-written and timely information regarding all banking components. It's free.
