Officer Access to the Vault

Question:
I was wondering if Compliance Officers, who are involved in management, are allowed to have access to the vault. I'm not sure about this issue, however, I believe that a Compliance Officer should not have "direct" access of the vault key/combination. They must go through another officer/manager first. Right?

Except in the case of COs wearing multiple hats (been there, done that, got the bald spot from changing hats so often), I can see no reason a CO would need to have vault keys/combinations.

I agree. The way I used to pose this question was, "if anything ever goes wrong, wouldn't you rather be eliminated from the suspect pool in the beginning"?

There generally is no reason the CO would need access unless they have duties there on a more than occasional basis.
