The type of robbery where robbers enter and essentially “take over” the office is much less common than a lone note-passer. According to FBI statistics for 2018, there were 169 takeover bank robberies as compared to over 1800 note passers. Employee training should be directed toward preparing employees for both these scenarios and other threats.
