Regulation CC mentions demand deposit accounts. In the case ofsavings accounts, can I place a hold on cash? I did not see this anywhere.

Answer:

Reg CC does not mention cash because the Reg only has to do with holds on check deposits. And it only has to do with checking accounts. You can put any kind of a hold your policy and procedures allows on savings accounts though your customers may object to you holding cash !
