Answered by:

Question:
We have a loan request from a limited partnership that is owned by an executive officer's wife and her family. Is this loan subject to the Regulation O $100,000 limit for Executive Officers?
Answer:

There is no easy answer without making a determination on whether or not the extending of the loan to the LP will have an indirect or direct economic benefit to the EO.
