Resources For IT Security Training

I am working with IT to develop electronic security awareness training. The objective is to provide an understanding of the security risks involved with computers, passwords, email, sign ons, etc. I am looking for resource information that I can use to develop the training.

You may wish to review the internet sites such as:

BankersOnline has many featured articles and Guru Q&A written by L. Michael Guard, Andy Zavoina, Dana Turner, Jim Incaprera, and others on the importance of security awareness, secure passwords, backup and saving data files, the bank's polcies on EDP Housekeeping Rules, Microcomputers, End Users, Internet and E-Mail guidelines. Be sure to include "social engineering awareness" tips that users may be confronted by professional hackers to obtain access to the bank's computers and network systems. Include a session on "Identity Theft", what to look for and how to assist victims. Documenting this training will qualify for your Information Security Progam training requirements as well.
