Responding to ACH NOCs

Question: 
What happens when we send a Notification of Change (NOC)?
Answer: 

Ideally, the ODFI receives the NOC and forwards it to its Originator (business customer). From there, if the transaction is recurring (will occur more than once) the Originator should make changes before submitting a new transaction to you. If it does not, this is a Rules violation and there are a couple of things your bank can do to remedy this situation.
