Sample of Frivolous or Irrelevant Notice

Answered by:

Question:
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, if a direct dispute is deemed to be frivolous or irrelevant, the Bank shall notify the consumer of such determination not later than 5 business days after making such determination. Do you have a sample of the frivolous or irrelevant notice, or can you indicate where one can be found?
Answer:

"Recently, we received a direct dispute from you regarding certain information in your credit report. As permitted by law, we have determined your dispute to be a frivolous or duplicate dispute. Your current claim will not be investigated because we have investigated your dispute in the past, and found our information to be reported accurately to the credit reporting agency."
