Signage Requirements-Offsite Client Meetings

Answered by:

Question:
Our lenders have been meeting clients offsite more frequently (i.e. at their home or place of business). Since the customer may not enter our branch, how do we meet signage requirements for Regs such as Fair Housing, CRA, CIP, and Truth in Lending?
Answer:

Fair Housing and CRA notices are only required in the bank offices. CIP requires you to notify people. The lenders can do that verbally. I'm not aware of a TIL sign.

Look up each regulatory requirement you are concerned about and see if it applies only to the branch offices or meetings offsite. Then you can determine how to deal with each one.
