Single Member LLC: More Than One Signer?

Answered by:

Question:
Can a single member LLC have more than just one signer on the account?
Answer:

Yes, and it's fairly common. The single member is, of course, by default the managing member. He or she need only provide you with an appointment of an authorized signer. The authorized signer does not have to be a member or even an employee of the LLC. The authorized signer on the LLC is in the same legal position as an authorized signer on a corporation's account.
