From social media to the website

Question:
We include the EHL logo on our website where we offer home loans. We also use Twitter and Facebook, but do not use it there because it is on our site. Are we OK?
Answer:

In a word, “no.” Using social media as an extension of your website for advertising can drive hits to the site, but they are also stand-alone advertisements. In some cases disclosures may be linked, but what you’re describing sound more like incomplete ads.
