No. ODFIs can submit outgoing files containing both Same-Day batches and regular ACH batches. It’s vital that all ODFIs educate their business customers to ensure businesses who intend to submit “regular” files are using a future effective entry date, not the current date, when they submit the file to reduce the chance of an accidental Same-Day file being sent to the Operator.
