Answer: 

A US TIN is a SSN, EIN or ITIN. The ITIN Or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number is issued by the IRS for tax reporting purposes. A FTIN is a foreign taxpayer identification number and is used for interest-bearing nonresident alien accounts.
