Travel Rule & Incoming Wires

Answered by:

Question:
Does the Travel Rule apply to incoming wires?
Answer:

An originating bank is responsible for sending the information along with the wire. If it fails to do so the compliance problem is theirs, not the beneficiary bank's.First published on BankersOnline.com 9/28/09
