TRID: Disclosing escrow waiver fees

Question:
Would an escrow waiver fee be disclosed in the Loan Origination Section and in the Escrow Waiver Fee section?
Answer:

Yes, if a creditor imposes an escrow waiver fee, it would be disclosed under Origination Charges (as it’s a loan level price adjustment), as well as in the No Escrow chart on page four of the Closing Disclosure. If the fee will not be charged to the borrower, it would not be disclosed in either section.
