What's Required on an Outdoor Building Sign?

Answered by:

Question:
Is the Member FDIC verbage required on an outdoor sign that identifies your bank building? Also, same question for the EHL logo.
Answer:

The EHL logo is only required when you promote home loans. "Member FDIC" is required on most advertisements. If the outdoor sign you describe is simply a sign that states the name of the bank so that people can identify the building, it does not need the "member FDIC" wording.
