When is Roth interest really tax-free?

Question:
Is Roth interest always tax-free after age 59.5?
Answer:

No. The first requirement is that the owner must have maintained an open Roth for at least 5 years before the interest is taken and that he/she has attained the age of 59.5. If the five year period has not been met, the interest would be taxable from a Roth IRA.
