Who should be “doing” compliance in your bank?

Question:
What does the Compliance Officer have to do in his or her role?
Answer:

The Compliance Officer is not really the one who “does compliance.” That is done at the new accounts desk, the teller line and the loan closing table. The CO manages the process, but can’t do it alone.
