Will having the customer log on to internet banking suffice for their digital signature if we want to change the terms of an electronic agreement or make some other product or service available?

We have a situation where an ex-spouse has been accessing the online banking portal of one of our customers. This ex-spouse has not transacted anything fraudulently as of yet. We have reset the password since being notified of this unauthorized access. We have verified, via IP addresses and times, that our customer did not log in and that it was in fact, the ex-spouse. What law(s) have been broken by the ex-spouse logging into the online banking site of the customer? Are there any areas of Reg E that would apply?

How do you get Senior Management to buy into the serious need for business continuity planning, including the need to spend money for adequate back-up materials, filters, etc.? We recently were hit with a computer virus and were without internet for 4 days. We should have a back up method for that!

We have an officer that is wanting to do away with email and internet because she is afraid of a virus shutting down our system. We have proper firewalls/virus programs etc. How can I explain to her that our virus programs are designed to keep this from happening? She is wanting me to tell her with 100% certainty that nothing will hurt our system. I feel comfortable with the protection that we have however, I cannot guarantee that nothing will happen.

Yesterday, a local realtor was taken at gunpoint to a bank and ordered to take money out of his/her account and hand it over to the extortionist, who was a woman wearing what appeared to be some form of cultural face covering, veil and hat. The woman, who was waiting in the lobby while the victim pulled money out of the account, was approached by bank employees and asked if she needed help because of her suspicious appearance. She refused, stating that she was waiting for someone. It did not appear that the victim was in distress. A couple of questions arise from this situation:

If the employee who was waiting on the victim had suspected what was taking place, what would have been the course of action to take without creating a bigger hostage situation?

Can bank employees ask someone to remove a cultural head covering because their face is not being shown, and if so, how would you pose the question and not offend anyone culturally?
