VA ANPR on VA loan fee limits
The Department of Veterans Affairs has published in the April 13, 2017, Federal Register an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking as part of the VA's review of its regulations governing the allowable expenses that a veteran may pay or be charged when obtaining a VA-guaranteed home loan. The VA's Loan Guarantee Service seeks comments on how the public believes the VA should approach its review. The list of permissible charges and fees a borrower may be charged or may pay when obtaining such a loan is found in the VA's regulations at 38 CFR 36.4313. Comments are due by June 12, 2017.
