Counterfeit cashier's check alert
The OCC has posted an alert warning of counterfeit cashier’s checks of Farmers & Merchant’s National Bank, Nashville, Illinois. The bank reported at least four variations of counterfeit checks are in circulation using the bank’s routing number and are being presented for payment nationwide in connection with a variety of online auction and job opportunity scams.
