Does anyone have information as to whether banks in Georgia that issue savings bonds are defined as a "federal contractor" under state law and therefor subject to the e-verify rules?

What would State law have to do with being considered a "Federal" contractor?

Not sure, but in an answer by Andy Z. regarding the new E-verify rules in the BOL, he mentioned that while banks did not meet the definition of a "contractor" simply because they issue or sell Savings Bonds, that there may be state laws that may have impact.

Thanks for looking I did find e-verification rules for Ga. but they apply only to public employers of state or political subdivision of state.
