Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had a template or some other useful information to put together a training for the BoD.

Its honestly going to be the first official training the BoD here has ever received other than my periodic reports.

At a high level the security training for the board would be pretty limited, provided they are not in the bank on a daily basis. There would be other regs I would provide training on before security.

If your bank is a member of ABA, you can take advantage of their free training. One of the courses in their Frontline Complicance is "Information Security and Red Flags".

I would love to have information on the Security Training for the Board also. This will be the first year for our bank also. If you find any--could you please share...Thanks

It is a very good idea to train your BOD on bak security. It might be more of an informational training to show them the risks instead of how to handle a robbery. I strongly encourage BOD security training.
