The Kinks aren't listed, but they morphed into an Arena Rock band in the late 70s and early 80s. I pick them.

I grew up on Loverboy and Blue Oyster Cult.... My question is how is Rush listed as an "Arena" band?

Why not? That may not be the only genre in which they would be labeled by allmusic.com, but it fits as one of the genres they belong in.

Why not? That may not be the only genre in which they would be labeled by allmusic.com, but it fits as one of the genres they belong in.


I guess I have always thought of Rush as something more than just an Arena Band... I suppose they fit into a lot of categories though. Very unique group in my opinion.
