Are checks deposited via remote deposit capture subject to reg CC? I know that section 229.19 discusses where deposits can be made(staffed facility, ATM, etc), there is no mention of remote deposits. As a result, there is some discussion about whether those types of deposits can be subject to the reg.

I believe the "unofficial" opinion is that they are not subject to Reg CC, because the checks are not deposited at a location specified in the reg.
