I just have a few questions about who everyone considers a vendor for Vendor Management.

1) Title Companies
2) Appraisers
3) Local newspapers (for advertising, personnel ads, etc.)

I think no on all of these, our vendor list started with our A/P list and those were never removed.

I have excluded all of those from my critical vendor list. I do notate that title companies and appraisers at times can have confidential info. I performed a risk assessment that shows they (as a whole, not one company) are under our "critical" rating threshold based upon the services they provide and information they have access to. I also indicate that we have a list of board approved appraisers, we don't rely on any one. We also have multiple title companies to choose from.
