We want to start charging fees to do credit references. My question is does anyone charge these types of fees, if so how and how much? Thanks ahead of time for the assistance.

We charge 15.00 per credit reference. We have charge this for about 4 years now.

My suspicion is that what are being discussed are fees for performing a verification of deposit in connection with mortgage underwriting. At least that's the only thing I can think of that makes sense with the questions asked and the forum in which they were asked.

The better term would be "Verification of Deposits". Coming from rental companies, retail stores, retirement homes, etc.
