When doing OFAC checks on businesses with multiple assumed names for commercial loans, do other banks check each assumed name against OFAC?

What do you mean by an "assumed name?"

For Example, In Tx. a person -or an entity like a corp - that is DBA "The Christmas Tree Lot" must register and they are given an "Assumed Name Certificate" for The Christmas Tree Lot.

We check each and every company name (ficticious or not) and each and every indiviual relationship name captured in our CIF, including relationships such as authorized signers and payable on death.
