Is there any prohibition regarding including the perjury statement that we include on the Affidavit of Forgery on the Reg E Error Resolution Claim Form? Our management believes this may cut down on the number of unauthorized claims that may not be truly unauthorized if they see that statement. I realize that we may not be able to enforce it but it I know that other banks are including it on their forms.

I think it is perfectly acceptable so long as it is applicable to a false claim. That shouldn't dissuade any valid claim from being made.
