Please pray for my father-in-law, mother-in-law, husband, and the rest of our family. FIL had a massive heart attack on Monday and has not done well this week. It's been quite a roller coaster. They are doing yet another procedure this afternoon. At this point, we're not sure how to pray other than we don't want him to suffer and we need God's grace and peace. All prayers appreciated. We serve a God of miracles. Thank you in advance.

I was out Friday afternoon because we thought they were going to put a stent in one of the arteries (95% blocked). But, after sitting there for 4 hours they decided that it was too late in the day to do it. Then he had two more "episodes" over the weekend where his heart, lungs, and blood pressure went crazy. They had to put him back on the ventilator last night. This morning, though, they did put in 2 stents and my husband says he looks much better. I plan on going over there after I get off this afternoon. He is definitely not out of the woods and is still on the ventilator, but right now we are thankful for any good reports. Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers...we know he is in God's hands.

I just wrote it in another thread - but keep up the positive thoughts and prayers, and encourage your FIL to do the same. Cancer is a tough fight, but it can be won!
Stay positive, stick to plain, non-processed foods during treatments (I haven't gone total vegetarian, but I'm close...I've even eliminated daily for the most part...I still like cheese occasionally)
Best wishe and prayers for a full recovery!

Update: Thank you all for the encouragement and prayers. FIL is doing better...but feeling well enough that he is misbehaving. He continues to try to pull out the vent tube and PIC line. As a result, they've had to increase some of the meds they had previously taken him off of....So, he IS better and hopefully, he will get with the program soon and be able to get out of ICU.

My father-in-law passed away this afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and don't take each other for granted. Be blessed and thankful every day. And, make sure you know where you will be one second after you die. I am blessed to know I will see my family in heaven. Will you?

I'm so sorry ET. May God ease your pain as you all mourn his loss. At least you have the comfort of knowing where he is and that is at peace.
