Currently, our system when we generate a Colorado loan the information for the borrower simply reads their name. For instance Section B on Deed of Trust would read: "Borrower" is John Doe. In other states, the marital status would need to be included to read: "Borrower" is John Doe, an unmarried man (or similar language). I cannot find anything in Colorado law stating the marital status is not needed. Does anyone have any information or web site I could look at?
