We're working, particularly since I'm at a non-bank client. BUT I am getting stuff done (I love it when a plan comes together.)

Go ahead, rub it in. Our bank follows the FRB holidays, and is closed today. I also handle a separate division which follows the stock exchange schedule, which is open today. So I'm here on Columbus and Veterans Day, when the stock exchange is open, and also on Good Friday (and 12/24 this year) when the bank is open but the stock exchange is closed. So much for banker's hours.

One good thing about this co, even though we don't get FRB hols, we do get the day after Thanksgiving and the 23/24th of December for Christmas.

We're open. Every bank in town is closed, so we can' clear checks, but we're still open. We used to get off for Mardi Gras, but they took that away last year.

We're here today - normal hours. About all we've done is answer the phone to tell people . . . "yes, we're here today, normal hours." It's 12:26 and I've had one customer in my office.

We're open and open 7 days a week. Unfortunately, we've only been blessed with the presence of one lobby customer and one drive through customer. We're new to the area so people don't know we're open or they don't expect us to be open, but..............WE'RE OPEN!!!

To CubDave: I used to be a bank examiner in the Chicago area, many moons ago. I can remember when banks were closed on Wednesdays! I loved it, cause we could wear tee shirts and jeans to work, since there was no public to contend with. However, the bankers were mad, cause somebody had to give up their day off and babysit the examiners.
Now, we are open Monday thru Saturday. No more two day weekends. It stinks!

We're closed, but working is a good excuse not to be cleaning house. Plus we bought an investment company yesterday, branch opens in a few weeks, marketing plan for '05 due yesterday...what the heck am I doing on BOL????????????? : ) My name is Okie Banker and I'm a BOLaholic!

We were closed yesterday. But that doesn't mean I wasn't working. I cleaned the pool, the house, washed 5 loads of laundry, went grocery shopping - in short yesterday was my Saturday. We were out of town last weekend and will be very busy with activities this weekend - no time to do the chores.
