I haven't tried. The post in the Lending thread says there might be another mistake, which may take a few days to correct.

I have a question. At the FFIEC's HMDA downloads pages, when you get to the "Download Now" part, I see "Download Instructions" and "Installation Instructions." Are we supposed to choose one of these Instructions, or use both of them, or what? (I apologize for my ignorance about this.)

I haven't looked at the FFIC download, but normally you would download an executable file (exe) that runs a program that produces reports. After you download the exe file onto your computer you would install it by double clicking on it and running it (or you would go to your start button and go to "run" and insert the name of the exe file and run it). After that normally an icon would appear on your screen that you would click on to run the reports you want.

I went to the patch site, and saw only the 9-30-05 patch for HMDA, but the CRA patch was dated 10-5-05. So maybe that was the extra problem they were concerned about. That date was after my initial post.
Anyway, I downloaded the HMDA patch yesterday and reprinted the reports. Much better!

Not to mention how much larger the HMDA disclosure is this year and the number of trees that had to die as a result. Gosh, wouldn't it be nice if the government made these available from the web in PDF format so it could easily be saved on a network drive and posted on a bank's intranet site, thus saving a lot of paper? Oh, I'm sorry. We're talking about the federal government, aren't we??

I went in yesterday and found two patches. I don't remember the dates but I downloaded them both.
