Our loan officers have been told that after 8/1 we must export our data to the title company so they can create the Closing Disclosure. Has anyone else been told that?

Told by whom? If it's the title company, they work for you and have no right to tell you that you must do anything. The ultimate responsibility for the Closing Disclosure lies with your bank so I would be extremely hesitant about exporting my bank's data anywhere. You have to decide if you want to prepare the CloD or let someone else do it. At the very least, I would insist that the bank must review and approve every CloD prior to it being sent out.

our title companies have gone just the opposite. They are no longer going to do the closing disc. We will receive all of their numbers and we will create the Disc ourselves.

Thanks for the feedback. Truffle I agree -and I doubt our data security people will allow us to export and import data with a title company anyway. I wanted to see if we were being difficult!
