Can Executor/Administrator Grant a POA?

Answered by:

Question:
Can an executor/administrator of an estate appoint a POA?
Answer:

Not to the best of my knowledge. This is one of those fiduciary responsibilities that cannot be delegated, except that in some states a professional agent (such as a trust company) can be hired.
