Industry First? Tellers Help Choose Teller System!

Updating a teller automation system is an important task for financial institutions of all sizes, and when the three-office Bippus State Bank in Kansas City, KS, decided it needed to modernize, it developed a thorough evaluation process that included analysis by users.

The computer operations person in charge of the project invited three teller system providers into the bank to give demonstrations to a technology committee. The committee consisted of himself, a board member, a manager and three of the bank's tellers.
