Signatory for Corporate Accounts

Answered by:

Question:
For corporate accounts, can anyone other than the Secretary sign a Signature Card resolution? The Secretary is not always available to sign and I'm curious if another officer of the corporation can sign?
Answer:

Who can sign or document a corporate resolution is totally based on the corporate organization documents. Just because they might be the Secretary does not automatically give them that power to act alone. Questions like this need to be presented to your legal counsel.
