Existing Board members should be updated. They need to know the new risk of crime, potential expenses for the financial institution for training and changes, big picture of where BSA is moving and the management level of information so that they can continue oversite on the program.
It may be different for a new Board member who may need to understand the AML/BSA program from the more comprehensive point of view.
