Winter storm watch up for late tonite through Sat. evening....2 to 6; 3 to 5; 4 to 10; possibility for more. looking forward to hoping my snowblower works...IN %$#&^*%^ OCTOBER! I was cuttting grass just a week ago.

I don't know how y'all get through the winters up there, I really don't..... Did you spend some time (at least a million years ago) in Michigan? Was that part of the country warm in the winter then?

They upgraded our forecast this morning to 1/2" of snow. I know that does not compare with 2 to 10 inches. But really? Snow in October here in Maryland? I am so not looking forward to standing out in the snow selling Girl Scout cookies tomorrow morning  Girl Scout Cookies? In October?????????  Yes, each district sells cookies at different times of the year. That whole, supply and demand thing. We take orders starting in early October and then start booth sales this weekend through the beginning of December. Usually not too bad, but it is not starting off too good this year.

10" wet snow combined with leaves still on the trees = no power since Saturday and a ton of clean up. Could be up to a week or so....
