For a new customer or updating existing customers, we've been accepting the paper verification that states an Oklahoma Driver's License has been issued and the hard copy will be in the mail within 30 days. I'm wondering if we need to track these and make sure we get the hard copy when it's received? or is it acceptable to use the paper copy for CIP purposes? Just wondering how other banks are handling them?

Because they are so behind in getting new licenses out, we have been using them on existing customers with no issue as we have their picture on the old DL. On new customers, we like to ask for a different form of ID with a picture such as a school or work ID if the customer is not known to us.
