Is it common to use the most recent year when choosing which year of small business loans to evaluate for the lending test (ISB)?

Does anyone know of a way to obtain Dunn and Bradstreet data for us to use in testing internally?

What determines the sample size? I'm seeing 90% of the 1 year universe in some PE's.

Last question- Who out there is using a platform/software package to monitor your bank's lending test between exam cycles?

Thanks,
Bill.

What D&B data do you need? Most of the CRA software products include some D&B data (business counts, etc.)

To perform an internal lending test, I would need D&B small business data for my assessment area. I would also need HMDA aggregate reporter data for my assessment area.

Safe to say these are only/most easily accessed via a software package? We don't have one yet, but it sounds like we may need it.
