This is one of the nicknames my husband gave me. I studied to be an opera singer in school and went to work for a bank to pay the bills for a few years, and lo and behold I've been in banking for 26 years now. I still sing, but only in church, although I do co-host a weekly opera program on the public radio station with my husband.
That's awesome! I was a vocal music minor in college. Now it's pretty much church and some musicals at the local theatre. The closest I get to classical is "The Messiah." I have done small parts of it before, but got to do "Rejoice Greatly, O Daughter of Zion" this year.

Wow - din't know there were so many singers out here. I studied vocal music performance for a year, then decided to I would either starve or live with my parents the rest of my life pursuing it. Now, it is mostly church stuff, though I am beginning to explore the local community theatre scene.

Mine is a part of my last name. My last name sounds like Kimberly and people often forget about my first name altogether and just call me Kimm.

My family and I haven't always seen eye to eye. So my sister, my brother and I are the blacksheep of the family.

Mine is a tip of the hat to a childhood nickname, given to me by my favorite aunt.

Mine is the name of a work of poetry by Omar Khayyam who was an 11th century Persian mathematician, astronomer, physician, and poet. It's very interesting reading.

You have to be a Nascar fan to understand mine. LOL
I'm a NASCAR fan and I still don't understand. Big Hendrick Racing fan, here--especially 24 and 48!
Username: Born and reared in Alabama. Big UA fan! Got two degrees there--Accounting and Law. Been posting as BamaLaw on two or three other boards since starting law school in 1998. Also have BMALAW (limited to 6 characters) on my UA personalized license plate.
Well I also am a Hendrick fan but of the 25 and the 48. Not to kean on 24.

My middle name is Suzanne and when I was little people were always calling me "Little Suzy Q". Why? I don't know. But it is one of the names that has stuck.

Mine is a place I like to be every weekend I can with my beautiful quarter horse, riding the trails in the great outdoors. Also, a salutation that you too, might travel a happy trail.

...And I really don't have a problem with Jr. I'd probably rank him amongst my top 10. I never did particularly care for his dad, though. If there's any one team I pull agains, it's any Roush driver; however, I'm impressed with Edwards. I actually found myself pulling for him to pass Johnson at Atlanta...more because of the excitement of a rare last lap pass for the win than anything else, though.

I copied Andy Z's format.
If I had to register again, I would probably choose Twenty Grand. (Winner of the 1931 Kentucky Derby.)
Or if I had an off-day, then Ack Ack!
You don't have to register again. You can change your display name any time and as often as you wish.
Click on "My Home"
Click on "Edit" across from "* Personal information, email, password, etc."
You will see your "login" name at the top.
Below that, you will see your display name in a box. Change it!
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Submit"
You are done!

I live in KC, and my assistant is always amazed at how good I am at geocoding addresses. She calls me Ms. Geo but I gave myself a promotion for BOL. Little did I know becoming a Queen would become a negative (only for certain people tho).

Wanna share with us? I figured it has something to do with Kansas and KU. Am I close?
