Could anyone direct me as to where I can find the record retention requirement for actual checks in this post check 21 environment? We image all our items and have been retaining the originals for 90 days. Due to space requirements we would like to reduce that time frame down to 45 days.. just want to be sure that wouldn't be an issue.

I would check with your state ABA for guidance. I believe each state has different retention guidlines.
