In working through the best practices for ODP, I'm a little unsure of the intended notification to customers procedure.
The guidance indicates that you must notify customers prior to a transaction being completed that will trigger their ODP so that the customer has the option to cancel the transaction. This must be done where "feasible"; I'm comfortable that at our ATM's (as mentioned in the guidance) is not feasible, and a notice will be posted at the ATM's. However at the teller lines and drive thru, must we give a specific notice to each customer at each transaction that is being requested which will prompt their account to go into overdraft?
